Captains Come United Ahead of the Opening

Today the Gold Coast Captains Marked the opening of the Sevens series by coming together. All the captains from the performing teams gathered together, Only the South African Captain Kyle Brown Missed the Captains Union.

"Last year was very frustrating [for me]. I think it was game two here on the Gold Coast that I injured my shoulder and was sidelined for the majority of the year, so to come out now and be refreshed and injury-free is a great feeling and I'm looking forward to getting out there and playing some more footy," said Jenkins, Host Captain.

Most of the Captains expressed confidence in their Sevens Team. They have praised their teams experience and hope for the Best.

The story at hand was the Kenya Team who came fifth in the previous series. The team which was spearheaded by the then Coach Mike Friday showed a sterling performance.

"I think we're excited, Australia has been a good hunting ground for us and we're here to start things off and see where we can be at the end of the season," said Andrew Amonde.

Lets wait and see if Kenya will deliver their performance under the interim Coach Felix Ochieng
